Graduate Assistant for the National Pan-Hellenic Council
Dana (Ms. Dana as she is fondly known) supports all areas of the Office of Student involvement and serves as Graduate Advisor for the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Her background in residence life, advertising/internet marketing, as well as non-profit and administrative work offer a unique perspective on improving the success of UMKC students. A self-proclaimed "professional mentor," Ms. Dana loves applying her knowledge in communication and passion for service to help diverse, international, first-generation and under-resourced students develop the skills to succeed in and graduate from college.
Ms. Dana is a proud graduate of Kansas State University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with a Minor in Women’s Studies. She is currently in practicum coursework for her Masters in Counseling and Guidance (School Counseling emphasis) where her areas of interest are urban education, multicultural counseling and learning technologies.
