Student Standard of Conduct

Students enrolling in the University assume an obligation to behave in a manner compatible with the University's function as an educational institution.  The University of Missouri Student Standard of Conduct is part of the Collected Rules and Regulations (CRR) of the University of Missouri and includes the following areas:

  • Academic dishonesty (cheating, plagiarism or sabotage);
  • Forgery;
  • Obstruction or disruption of University activities;
  • Physical abuse or other threatening conduct;
  • Stalking;
  • Violation of the University's Equal Employment/Education Opportunity Policy (CRR 320.010)
  • Violation of the University's Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct in Education/Employment Policy (CRR 600.020)
  • Participating in attempted or actual theft;
  • Threatening or Intimidating Behaviors;
  • Unauthorized possession of University keys or unauthorized entry or use of University facilities
  • Violation of University policies;
  • Manufacture, use, possession, sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages or any controlled substance;
  • Disruptive conduct;
  • Failure to comply;
  • Illegal or unauthorized possession or use of firearms;
  • Hazing; and
  • Misuse in accordance with University policy of computing resources.
