Student housing at UMKC is about more than just offering you a place to eat and sleep — it's about your total educational experience. Residential Life offers you a place where you can hang out with friends, learn about others and most importantly, learn about yourself.
That's why all housing is conveniently located on the west side of campus, near the University Center (and cafeteria), Swinney Recreation Center, and within easy walking distance to all other Volker campus buildings. Nearby are the Country Club Plaza and museums, and other local attractions. Downtown Kansas City, Mo., is approximately 10 minutes away by car (or bus).
