UMKC Title IX Coordinators/Deputy Coordinators
UMKC is dedicated to the safety and security of all our students, faculty and staff. The Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators are trained to receive complaints of sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual violence and sexual assault from students, faculty, or staff and will coordinate with each other, as well as Campus Police and other campus Administrators and Officials to ensure that any complaints are resolved in an appropriate manner. The office of Affirmative Action will provide the primary resource for the investigation of sexual harassment complaints and will coordinate with the Deputy Title IX Coordinators, Campus Police to handle complaints of sexual misconduct, sexual violence and assault.

If you have a complaint against a UMKC student, faculty, staff member or visitor for sexual harassment and sex discrimination. Complaints of sexual misconduct, sexual violence and sexual assault will be coordinated with the Campus Police and Victims Services Adjudication Advisor.
The EO Investigator is responsible for Title IX compliance for matters involving students, faculty and staff, including training, education, communication, and administration of the Title IX grievance procedure for all complaints against a UMKC students, faculty, or staff.

Complaints against UMKC Students and Employees in Athletics
If you have a complaint against a UMKC student, coach or administrator for sexual harassment, sex discrimination, or sexual assault, you may contact one of the offices listed above, or you may contact the Senior Associate Athletics Director/Compliance, Josh Snyder, who will facilitate the handling of the complaint with the appropriate office.
