Q: What do I do if I have already submitted my timesheet and need to make a change?

A: If the time period has not closed, access your timesheet through myHR, make the necessary change, and resubmit. Note: If you are changing a TRC, it is recommended to first delete the row and add a new row with the correct information. If the time period has closed, contact your unit TimeKeeper to request a change.

Q: How do I enter multiple in and out times for one day?

A: Enter your first In and Out punches for the appropriate day in the fields that display on the Timesheet. For additional In and Out punches for that same day, add a row for however many In and Out punches you need.

Q: Why did only one week's worth of time submit?

A: If you choose to view by week and then submit the timesheet, any time saved in a previous or subsequent week will not be submitted. Only time showing will be submitted.

Q: Why doesn't my time reported on the timesheet match payable time? Why doesn't the time round on the timesheet?

A: Time entered on the timesheet does not round. Rounding occurs during the Time Administration process. Rounded time will only display in payable time.

Q: Why when I submit a timesheet are my leave balance totals not updated on the Leave Balances pages in myHR (Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > Leave Balances).

A: The leave balance totals will update under myHR once payroll is confirmed. The leave balance totals you can view from your timesheet will update immediately.

Q: How do I view what was entered for previous time periods?

A: In myHR use the Time and Labor Launch Pad. Navigation: Self Service>Time Reporting>View Time>Time and Labor Launch Pad.

Q: How do I enter holiday pay on the timesheet?

A: You no longer have to enter time in order to receive holiday pay. Time and Labor will automatically apply holiday pay. If you work on a holiday, enter time worked.

Q: Do I need to time in and out for meals?

A: Yes. If you convert to use of time clock this may change.

Q: Why doesn't my time reported on the timesheet match payable time? Why doesn't the time round on the timesheet?

Q: What is the Customize Page link and can I use it?

A: The Customize Page link is used to save certain settings within myHR and PeopleSoft. Do not use the Customize Page options as it will cause errors within Time and Labor.

Q: Can I see if my submitted time has been changed?

A: Your supervisor or HRF should always discuss andy changes with you. You may view your payable time using myHR by clicking on Self Service>Time Reporting>View Time>Payable Time Detail. If you have questions about the payable time displayed, your should contact the HRF for your unit.

Q: I forgot to punch time for two days in the past. The pay has already been issued. What do I do?

A: You need to contact either your supervisor or HRF for your unit. You cannot enter time for past pay periods. You will need to tell them the in punches and out punches for all the hours/days not paid.
