Understanding Performance Appraisals … the Employee’s Role
Course summary: This program is designed to orient UMKC employees to the new performance appraisal tool the University has implemented. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of performance appraisals and the benefits performance appraisals provide to their growth and development. During this session participants will learn how to complete the Employee Self-Appraisal Form and how to assist their manager in developing effective performance goals and objectives. Attendance is recommended for all non-supervisory employees.
Time is Money … and Then Some
Course summary: In this basic session we will discover the areas that problems in time management can be attributed to, discuss the problems that poor time-management skills can cause and introduce a variety of ways to identify priorities, tackle your to-do list, and control your daily interruptions (i.e. e-mail, phone, meetings, drop-ins, etc.). Remedies for the time-management toxins of procrastination and disorganization will also be reviewed.
