Course Description: A study of the nature of logical discourse generated through the preparation and presentation of oral argument within the framework of the debate format. Lecture, performance and discussion, (3 credit hours).
The award-winning UMKC Debate program is the only university debate program in the past six years to rank in the national top ten each year. The UMKC team won the 1994 CEDA National Championship Tournament.
