Single Sign On (SSO) Code and Student ID Number

Your UMKC Single Sign-On (SSO) Account

Welcome to UMKC!  Your SSO (Single Sign-On) account code and your Student ID number have already been created. 

All that remains to be done is for you need to set up your password.  To do this you will need to know both your Student ID number and your SSO code.

Where can you find your UMKC Single Sign On (SSO or Username)? 

  • Your SSO is on your Student ID Card. 

  • You can look up your SSO on the home page of the UMKC website www.umkc.edu. 

  1. Type your last name in the box marked "Student Lookup"

  2. Click on "Go"

  3. Find your name on the list of student names that are displayed.

  4. Your SSO is your UMKC email address minus the expression "@umkc.edu".

Where can you find your UMKC Student ID Number? 

  • Your Student ID Number is on your Student ID Card.

  • Your Student ID Number is included on your UMKC billing statements.

Replacement ID Cards

If you lost your HSCP Student  ID Card (or did not receive yours) you may request a new one by emailing the HSCP office (see below).  Please include your full name and date of birth.
