* Twenty eight Blue Springs students made it to run-offs in the National History Day competition out of a total of 322 participating.  Twelve came in first, second, or third in their categories and will be competing at the state contest at University of Missouri-Columbia  8am-7pm  Sat April 16, 2005. ** Sarah Durbin and Brittni Strickland received a special invitation by one of the National History Day judges to display their exhibit board on the life of Thomas Hart Benton were asked by the director of the Thomas Hart Benton home if they would display their exhibit at the Thomas Hart Benton Home and Studio State Historic Site in Kansas City.
