Position Title: Martha Jane Phillips Starr Missouri Distinguished Professor In Women’s & Gender Studies
Position Description: This is a joint appointment in the women’s and Gender Studies Program and an appropriate department in the College of Arts & Sciences as the tenure home. Appointment will be at the rand of Associate Professor or Professor. The faculty member will teach courses in WGS and in their tenure home as appropriate, conduct research in their field, and fill a leadership role in the WGS program.
Qualifications: Applicants should present a distinguished record of scholarship and teaching consistent with tenure at a research institution. The area of expertise is open; however successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching in Women’s Studies/Gender Studies.
