Position Title: Assistant or Associate Professor – K40381

Position Description:   The Political Science Department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in comparative politics starting Fall 2008.  Area of research specialization is open.  The department places a high value on both strong scholarship and effective teaching.  The appointee will teach in both the undergraduate and Masters’ program.

Qualifications:  Ph.D. is required for the position with degree completion by the start of the appointment.

Position Title: Graduate Research Assistant

Position Description: Part-time position assisting faculty members in their research. Position contingent upon funding.
Qualifications: Must be a doctoral or master's level student in good standing in the Political Science Department with experience, skills or training appropriate for the research agenda of the faculty.
