Position Description: The Bloch School invites applications and nominations for the position of Chair, Department of Accountancy. Bloch/Missouri Chair in Financial Services will be responsible for developing and implementing a premier research and education program in financial services that will serve as a national model at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The goals include both supporting premium scholarship in financial services and preparing graduates for successful careers in the financial services industry. It is anticipated that Bloch students’ experiential learning will include exposure to current technological applications, actual experience in the workplace, and culminate with a capstone course designed to help students integrate their experiences throughout their program. The financial services program also will provide students with preparation for selected professional certification programs.
