What Is Blackboard?
Blackboard is a Learning Management System that provides an online space where instructors can place documents, videos, podcasts, lectures and many other types of files. Instructors can also use the space for asynchronous interaction by posting discussion board forums, assessments, blogs, wikis, or for synchronous interaction by using Wimba Classroom for live online classroom sessions. Use this site and the UMKC Knowledgebase to learn more about Blackboard 9.1.
UMKC instructors and students can access the UMKC Blackboard site by navigating to https://blackboard.umkc.edu.
