Recordings on Tegrity Server
Effective May 2013, Instructional Technologies will only keep Tegrity recordings on the Tegrity server for up to two years. Tegrity course sites older than 24 months from the fall semester will be archived and removed from the tegrity server.

UMKC's Tegrity installation no longer supports video capture from
auxiliary peripheral devices in ILE classrooms

The UMKC Tegrity team regrets to inform our users, that effective immediately our Tegrity installations will no longer support capturing video from auxiliary peripheral devices in ILE classrooms. These devices include the document camera, DVD/VCR decks, and slide projectors. Video capture from the web camera is supported.
Some background on the problem
In the past, Tegrity has been able to capture video from peripheral devices in ILE classrooms on computers running Windows XP. This past year, the ILE classrooms were upgraded to Windows 7 and we began seeing several issues with the ProVideo drivers that run the video capture card that feeds into Tegrity. We have been attempting to work with the hardware vendor to resolve this issue for over eight months now and have been unable to get a workable set of drivers from them to resolve this issue.
Can't you fix it?
Information Services has worked on the above issue with the card vendor for several months now to no avail. While we plan to continue to research other options, we wanted to be sure to communicate this change to our users.
