What can I find in this site?

Login to myUMKC Blackboard: This button links to the myUMKC Blackboard login page.

What is Blackboard?: The What is Blackboard? page gives an overview of myUMKC Blackboard and how Blackboard and its related tools can be used.

Faculty: The Faculty page links to step-by-step directions and video tutorials showing how to access Blackboard and how to use the many tools UMKC's Blackboard offers. Tips & Tricks and Known Issues & Workarounds will be added soon.

Students: The Student page links to step-by-step directions and video tutorials showing how to access Blackboard and how to use the many tools that may be used for UMKC courses. Tips & Tricks and Known Issues & Workarounds will be added soon.

Get Help: The Get Help page will provide information regarding training opportunities, walk-in help sessions and call center information.

How to Use the Faculty & Student Pages

Step-by-Step directions: Each page will provide step-by-step directions describing how to complete the task.

Video Tutorials: Video tutorials will be added to the site weekly. These will provide visual directions for the same task as the step-by-step directions.

Tips & Tricks: We will provide any tips and tricks that can prevent common problems users experience when performing that specific task.

Known Issues & Workarounds: Each of the known issues listed will link to the UMKC Knowledge Base that provides solutions and/or workarounds for that issue.
