Turnitin Suite
The Turnitin Suite makes grading student papers paperless, much easier, and very efficient. It is comprised of the Turnitin Originality Checker, GradeMark and PeerMark.
Turnitin allows students to submit their papers to the instructor via the Blackboard course site. The instructor has the option to run the paper through the Originality Checker to compare the students to millions of online and print resources. Learn more >>
GradeMark saves the instructor time when grading because the instructor can grade the students' papers directly in the Blackboard course site. Instructors can easily insert comments into the students' papers and use the drag-and-drop function to quickly insert frequently used comments. A grade for the paper can be entered from the same screen and it will automatically be entered into the Blackboard Grade Center. Learn more >>
PeerMark facilitates a peer review of a Turnitin assignment. Instructors create questions for students to answer regarding about their peers' and/or their own papers. Learn more >>
Turnitin, GradeMark and PeerMark are all tied together. This means that the instructor can toggle between the Originality Report, PeerMark peer reviews (if applicable) and GradeMark pages while grading a student's paper, making it easier to get a 'big picture' of the student's performance without jumping between programs and windows. The grade can be entered on the same page and will automatically be entered into the Blackboard Grade Center. With one click of an arrow, the instructor can move to the next student's submission.
