Wimba Pronto enables students and teachers to uniquely collaborate and learn in an informal “virtual venue,” replicating the exchange of ideas and communication that happens naturally in the hallways, cafeterias, or libraries at UMKC. It allows students to see who’s online from their classes, clubs, and study groups and instantly collaborate thru text chat and/or audio calls. Hold virtual office hours or online tutoring sessions via Wimba Pronto.

System Requirements
  • Windows 2000+ or Mac OS 10.4+
  • 128mb Ram (256mb recommended)
  • Internet connection at 56 kbps or higher
  • Sound Card (for Audio Calling)
  • Speakers and Microphone for Audio Calling (USB headset with integrated microphone recommended).
