Many faculty consider live, personal interaction to be the most valuable element of quality teaching and learning experiences. Wimba Classroom is a real-time virtual classroom environment designed for distance education and collaboration. Wimba Classroom allows faculty to create fully-featured live virtual classrooms in a content area in Blackboard. It supports audio, video, application sharing, content display, and whiteboard. Faculty can now use this classroom environment to hold live, online classes, office hours, guest lectures, and meetings in Blackboard.  If you are interested in Bb IM and/or Voice they are under Blackboard Communicate on the ITS page.

All users should run the Setup Wizard before entering Wimba Classroom for the first time. This will ensure that you have a successful Wimba Classroom experience.
