Direct Link Option: Windows Media Server

The only option when delivering video from the Windows Media server. Links can be placed on a web page or in your Blackboard course. Video is automatically opened up in Windows Media Player on Windows computers. On Apple computers, the user may also be prompted to download the .asx file that streams the video and may need to use VLC Media Player or the FLIP4MAC WMV Player to play the same.

Embedded Video Option: Flash Media Server

Video can be embedded on a webpage or within a content area in Blackboard.
