Lab Hours

There are many computer labs on the Volker and Hospital Hill campuses.  Information Services (IS) manages some but not all of these labs.  These pages only list information for the IS-managed labs.

  • Fall and Spring Semester Lab Hours (Spring 2008: January 14 - May 9)
  • Spring Break Lab Hours (Spring 2008 Spring break: March 22 - March 30)
  • Summer Semester Lab Hours (Summer 2008: June 9 - August 1)
  • Intercession Lab Hours (Summer Intercession 2008: May 10 - June 8 and August 2 - 17)

    Campus will be closed from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2007, until 8:00 a.m. January 2, 2008.

    Note -- the labs are closed along with the rest of campus on the days the following holidays are observed:

    • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day,
    • Memorial Day,
    • Independence Day,
    • Labor Day,
    • Thanksgiving holiday, and
    • The winter break.

IS manages computer labs at the following locations:

Most IS-managed labs contain the following equipment:
  • Workstations running Windows™ XP,
  • Black and white laser printers,
  • A scanner, and
  • Adaptive equipment (for persons with visual disabilities or wheelchair access needs).

- Denotes a lab with adaptive equipment.

 

 

If you are having problems in any of the public labs please contact one of the Lab Student Assistants for help.

If student assistants are unavailable in your lab you may also contact the UMKC Call Center for assistance.
