A maintenance window is a prescheduled time (typically late at night) during which server and workstation maintenance may be performed. This maintenance may cause disruption of service or performance degradation. The following data shows maintenance windows occuring in the next 31 days.

Server Reboots (2:00:00 AM - 2:30:00 AM)

Multiple production servers are rebooted every Saturday at 2 A.M. Affected systems/services include:
  • Remote Labs
  • Campus License Servers
  • Campus Printing
  • Password Change Utility

Tegrity Maintenance (12:00:00 AM - 7:00:00 AM)

The Tegrity server will have a brief outage for regular Sunday updates from 12 AM to 7 AM. The outage should last about one hour. All services should be back online by 7am. Affected systems/services include:

Workstation Maintenance (1:00:00 AM - 4:00:00 AM)

Most domain-joined workstations on campus are rebooted during this time. Due to the reboot (and subsequent logged-off state) many operating system updates and software deployments also occur during this time. Affected systems/services include:

Campus Pack Maintenance Window (6:00:00 AM - 7:00:00 AM)

The monthly Campus Pack maintenance window allows Learning Objects to implement performance updates and bug fixes. During this period, Campus Pack tools may not be available. Students and faculty are asked to plan their course activities accordingly. Affected systems/services include:

Blackboard Community System (12:01:00 AM - 4:00:00 AM)

During the monthly maintenance period, Blackboard may be totally or sporadically unavailable, users may experience slow response times, or certain tools may be unavailable. Students should not take a test or perform other high-stakes activities during the period immediately preceding the scheduled maintenance window unless they are certain that they can complete them before midnight. Affected systems/services include:
