Spam Reporting from Outlook on Campus

Reporting Problem Email via Microsoft Outlook Client

This site is only for reporting problem email received at UMKC.  If you have other email abuse problems, contact your Internet Service Provider, for spam, or for threats contact your local law enforcement.

To report spam via Outlook (Faculty/Staff only)

  1. Right-Click on the bad mail, and select 'Move' then select 'Other Folder'
  2. Scroll down the list to 'Public Folders'
  3. Expand Public Folders -> All Public Folders -> Kansas City -> Spam Reports
  4. Click on the Spam Reports folder and click OK

After using these steps once, the next time you right-click the message and select 'Move' you should have an option for the Spam Reports folder.

Please note that you will not be able to see messages once they are moved to the spam reporting folder.  If you accidentally move something to the Spam Reports folder, please email so that we can return the message to you.
