UNIX accounts available

UNIX accounts are now available to any interested student, faculty, or staff member. All standard utilities (command shells, document tools, editors, compilers, mail clients, etc.) are installed, along with C, C++, Fortran, and Java compilers and development tools. People coming to UMKC from a UNIX environment can continue to use software such as Emacs and Pine with which they are already familiar.
