Orange Sheets (UMKC General Purpose -- Answer Sheets)
- Orange answer sheets have a maximum capacity for 200 questions and up to five answer
choices per question.
- Students may suppress their identification number and score from appearing on a publicly
viewed report by filling in the field provided on the answer sheet.
Green Sheets (NCS General Purpose -- Answer Sheets)
- Green answer sheets have a maximum capacity for 120 questions and up to ten answer
choices per question.
- Students may suppress their identification number and score from appearing on a publicly

| Student Responses |
|
- Name: The student name does not need to be filled in.
- Identification Number: The identification number must be
unique for each answer sheet. In accordance to the Buckley Amendment of the Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act this value must not identify the specific student
with any reasonable certainty. Information Services recommends a numbering system that is
known only by the instructor and each individual student. The value must be between one
and nine digits long, and must be unique. No two score sheets within a given test group
can use the same identification number.
- Test Answers: Only one answer per question. If more than one bubble is
filled in, it is not counted in the score, and appears as a ? on the
report.

Standard Reports
A two-dimensional table giving each possible response within the columns and question
numbers on the rows. The correct response is marked with an asterisk (*). As

Here there are five students and two questions. Question 1 is answered
correctly by 80% of the five students. Question 2 is answered correctly only by 60% of the
same five students. RPBI is the point-biserial correlation. This
statistic indicates the relationship between the items score and the total test score.
Assuming that the total test score accurately discriminates among individuals, then
the highest RBPI would represent the most discriminate item.
- Summary of Statistics Report
The summary of statistics provides the number of valid questions, number of points
possible on the test, number of tests processed, average score, standard deviation, and
the Kuder-Richardson (KR 20) statistic.
Statistics of Data
A histogram indicating the frequency distribution of all the scores.
There are two grade reports, one is sorted by name and gives the identification number,
score, and name. The second report is sorted by identification number and gives the
identification number and score. This second report may be used for public posting of
grades since it does not contain student names. Please remember the Buckley
Amendment when considering this option.
Optional Reports
- Individual Student Error Listing
The report is sorted by identification number and name.
For each student, it creates a separate page giving the number of
questions, the points possible for the test, the number of correct answers, and then the point
score for that student. This information is followed by a table giving a
report on incorrect responses. This includes the question number, the point value for that
question, the correct response, the students response, and partial credit. This
sheet of paper can be handed back to the student for her own records.
- Percentage Scoring Report
The report is sorted by identification number and name. It gives the number of
questions, the points possible for the test, the number of correct answers, and then the percentage
score for that student. This information is followed by a table giving a
report on incorrect responses. This includes the question number, the point value for that
question, the correct response, the students response, and partial credit. This
sheet of paper can be given to the student for his own records.
