	Technology Resources and Links

Blackboard - Course management software that allows instructors to put components of their courses online.
Faculty Accomplishment System (FAS) - Centralized and secure web-based location for UMKC faculty to keep track of and report on annual service, publications, advising and other activities. Visit the MU FAS website for more information.
Faculty/Staff/Student Lookup - Search for email addresses (and other contact information) here.
Internet Bars - UMKC makes available to our students, faculty, staff, and constituents quick access to the web using kiosk computers.
Outlook Web and Mobile Access - Check your email online with Outlook Web Access.
Pathway - Register for classes, add/drop classes, pay fees, access and update your personal information and more.
STAR-UMKC (Host-On-Demand) - This system is being retired after July 1. All services previously accessible here (and many more) are now available via Pathway.

Academic Software - The UMKC Bookstore offers academic pricing for many software titles.
Personal Computers - As a student, faculty or staff member, you are eligible to receive educational discounts on personal computer purchases.


	Technology Training Options

Microsoft OnLine Training - End user courses for current Microsoft products.
Microsoft e-Learning Library - End user courses for Microsoft XP and Office 2003.

FERPA Exam - Mandatory FERPA training for UMKC faculty and staff who require access to PeopleSoft/Pathway student records.
Scansheets - Purchase answer sheets for classroom use by UMKC faculty.
Optical Scanning and Printing Services - Scanning services are provided for UMKC faculty and staff for purposes such as the scoring of multiple-choice "bubble-sheet" tests, grade reporting, course evaluation processing, and survey/questionnaire data processing.
