TEGRITY & WINDOWS VISTA
Instructors using Windows Vista might experience problems recording Tegrity Sessions which can be due to ‘User Account Control’, new security feature in Vista. Symptoms of this type of
errors include that the instructor software would not install or run.
Disabling User Account Control (UAC) in such cases can fix
the issue. To disable UAC of your computer follow the process below:

Launch MSCONFIG using Run command in the Start Menu

Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find "Disable UAC". Click on that line.

Press the Launch button

A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.

Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply
Note that you can re-enable UAC by selecting the "Enable UAP" line and then clicking on the Launch
button
