Here is some information supporting Macs through the switch to Daylight
Savings Time (on its new date of March 11).
For some software and versions of OS X, software patches are available that
correct the time zone and DST rules so that that your system clock and
applications which depend on time/data date adjust to the change on their own.
In other cases you may need to adjust the system time and application time
settings yourself. Below are some guidelines for assisting your Mac users with
the change.
- Version 10.2 (Jaguar) or earlier - You will need to
reset the clock by hand on March 11 and then again on April 1.
- Version 10.3 (Panther) and 10.4 (Tiger) - Apple has
released a software patch that will allow your Mac to make the switch at the
appropriate time this year. To install the patch, run Software Update from
the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen, and choose to apply
all new available updates. A reboot is required at the end of the process.
Visit Apple's DST site for more information:

discusses OS 9.2/Classic and necessary updates for Java.
For all other applications, the website at

applications you support and which may be affected by the new DST switchover
date.
