UMKC supports Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 as an Exchange Email Client

Installation Instructions

1. On the main menu click on Microsoft Outlook 2003.

   
    

2. You will first see a screen copying the install files to your computer.
   

    

3. You will next see a screen installing files to your computer.
   

    

4. Wait while Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 is installed.  This may take several minutes depending upon the speed of your computer.

   

    

5. Now enter your user name as shown so that your email profile may be created.  Click OK when finished.

   

   
    

6. Now enter your UMKC user name and password as shown.  If you would like Outlook to remember your password check the box labeled "Remember my password".  Outlook will now check your UMKC email, depending upon the speed of your computer and Internet connection this may take several minutes.
