Walk-in Visits: During walk-in visits, advisors will respond to brief questions about immigration status, travel, letters of good standing, practical training, on-campus employment, and employment confirmation for Social Security Number applications. These discussions should not exceed 10 minutes. Please assist us by keeping your appointment. Appointments: For questions that require more time or for processes that require changes to your I-20, you should schedule an appointment. If during a 10 minute walk-in discussion, you and your advisor decide that more time is necessary to address your situation, you will be asked to schedule an appointment. If you need an appointment, and your schedule prevents you from coming during an afternoon walk-in time frame, please call ISAO (816) 235-1113 to schedule a 30-minute appointment. The receptionist will ask you to provide brief information about the reason for the appointment in order to help the advisor prepare for the meeting. However, if you do not want to share information for personal reasons, inform the receptionist that you are unable to give more details because of privacy issues.
