Welcome to UMKC!
You're ready to take the next step in your college journey, and it begins with International Student Orientation. At this program, you will learn everything you need to know and do as a new student at UMKC.

All F-1 and J-1 students are required to attend Orientation unless you are coming to study ESL (English as a Second Language.
However, all international students are encouraged to attend International Student Orientation.

During your orientation program, you will lay the groundwork for future academic success by connecting with faculty and advisers, exploring campus and community resources, learning about health insurance and cultural differences, and meeting new friends.
Parents and Guests
We welcome parents and guests. Staff from a variety of campus departments will be on hand to help students transition to UMKC.
