UMKC is Kansas City's University. That's why we've created the UMKC Metro Rate, offering our in-state rate to undergraduate students from counties in and near the Kansas City metropolitan area.
With the UMKC Metro Rate, residents of Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties can get the high-quality undergraduate education they desire at the low in-state costs they deserve. This means that students from any of these Kansas counties, who are pursuing a bachelor's degree, pay the same undergraduate costs per credit hour as Missouri residents.
