If you are hardworking, have a passion for helping others, and are a good team player, we encourage you to apply to be a Student Assistant in our office. Student Assistants help the office with planning and promoting events, enhancing the services our office provides, and engaging in a variety of office tasks. Through being part of the MSA team, students not only have opportunities to network and learn about university resources, but they also gain valuable knowledge, skills, and experiences that they will carry with them as they pursue their future careers. Mentoring/Advising
The Multicultural Student Affairs Office serves students of color at UMKC by maintaining an open-door policy, advising student organizations, engaging in one-on-one counseling, as well as facilitating in fostering the growth and development of students of color by implementing educational, social and cultural programming.
