Reserved Spaces for Mopeds, Scooters and Motorcycles
The Parking Operations office has designated some existing spaces for motorized bicycles, scooters and motorcycles.
Use of the eight spaces currently open requires a parking permit, available through UMKC Parking Operations, Administrative Center Room 221, (816) 235-5256. Tags for these facilities are half the cost of an automobile parking permit, or $22. If an employee has a car permit but uses a motorized bicycle, scooter or motorcycle as a secondary vehicle, there is no additional charge but a permit is still necessary.
The spots on the Volker Campus are at the 4825 Troost parking lot, the Administrative Center Faculty/Staff parking lot (east), School of Education Faculty/Staff lot, School of Biological Sciences Faculty/ Staff Parking lot, Rockhill Parking Structure (1st floor), University Center metered parking area, Miller Nichols Library parking lot, Pay by Space Lot near Grant Hall.
Additional areas will be set aside in the Hospital Hill parking structure, Oak Street parking structure, and the Pay by Space lot west of Administrative Center.
