Miller Nichols is also host to the Special Collections and Marr Sound Archives. Special Collections contains over 27,000 items in American history, ranging from music posters to maps, and over 56,000 pieces of popular American sheet music and dance band arrangements. Marr focuses on the American experience through recorded sound, holding over 150,000 sound recordings including most genres of music, as well as significant historical speeches.
