Paul Hess, School of Pharmacy, named a 2008 Student Affairs Honor Recipient One of 10 students honored for outstanding academic and service involvementThe University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management has named Paul Hess a 2008 Honor Award recipient, one of 10 graduating seniors commended for both academic achievements and participation in programs outside the classroom.
Hess graduates with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the School of Pharmacy.
The honor award program was established in 1975 to recognize graduating seniors who excelled in academic achievement, involvement in university programs and service to the campus and surrounding community.
Upon graduation, Hess will accept a position with the Family Pharmacy in Springfield, MO. Hess is a member of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists; SGA Senate and Kappa Epsilon, a professional pharmacy fraternity. His past awards include the Dean’s List and the J. Leo McMahon Grant.
The recipients will be honored at a reception and breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m., May 9 in room 106 of the University Center, 5000 Holmes St., Kansas City, MO.
