Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe to Open in UMKC
Restaurant scheduled to open mid-Sept. in Oak Place Apartments
Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe is scheduled to open in mid-September in the University of Missouri-Kansas City's Oak Place Apartments. The restaurant will occupy the ground floor retail space of Oak Place Apartments on 5050 Oak St., near Oak Nails salon. An estimated five-week construction project began in late July on the 2,920-square-foot space. Jordan Starke signed a five-year lease on the property. When it opens, Pickleman's will serve its mix of toasted sandwiches, soups, salads and pizzas from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. They'll also deliver to areas within three miles or a five-minute drive of their location.About the University of Missouri-Kansas City
