Persistent pay gap confronts women

The Kansas City region has a gender wage gap problem. And that's not just a problem for working women who earn less than men. It's a problem for all women, for men, for children and for the metropolitan area as a whole. "We must have some amount of anger about this," said Karen Dace, a deputy chancellor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
