Roo Bucks Overview:
Roo Bucks is a secure and convenient stored-value account that can be used on-campus and at some off-campus merchant locations. The account is automatically set up for you when you receive your One Card. In order to use Roo Bucks and to take advantage of discounts as they are offered, you only need to add money to your card.
How do I create a Roo Bucks account?
Roo Bucks accounts are automatically created when a campus ID is
issued.
How do I activate my Roo Bucks account?
To activate accounts, an initial deposit of $10 or more is
required by logging onto the
ManageMyID website or visiting the One Card office.
How do I add money to my Roo Bucks
account?
There are two convenient methods for adding money to your Roo
Bucks account:
- Online through ManageMyID
- In person at the One Card office.
How much money can I add to my Roo
Bucks account on-line?
The minimum deposit allowed is $10 and the maximum deposit allowed is $100. All deposits are nonrefundable
and nontransferable.
Where can I use my Roo Bucks?
Roo Bucks can be used at all campus dining locations, the
University Bookstore, printing in the IS computer labs, photocopy
machines in Miller Nichols Library, merchants participating in the
Off-Campus program, laundry facilities in the residence halls and at
vending machines with card readers installed.

Off-Campus Overview for Merchants:
UMKC and Off-Campus Advantage have partnered to bring the One Card Roo Bucks program on board with the Off-Campus Advantage network. Through this partnership, Off-Campus Advantage has built an off-campus merchant network and creates integrated marketing initiatives to educate students on where to use their Roo Bucks on and off campus. Not only do Off-Campus Advantage merchants benefit from the targeted marketing, they also have access to a pool of funds previously unavailable.
