A self-promoting, one-man political party, Milton Morris ran for Governor of Missouri five times on the "Missouri Association for Bingo and Horse Racing" ticket. "Why pay taxes?" his red, white and blue bumper stickers asked, "Legalize bingo and horse racing." In one of his bids for Governor, Milton garnered 30,000 votes.
