You're ready to take the next step in your college journey, and it begins with New Student Orientation. At this program, you will learn everything you need to know and do as a new student at UMKC.
During your orientation program, you will lay the groundwork for future academic success by learning how to connect with faculty and advisers, exploring campus resources, planning your class schedule and meeting new friends.
Parents and Guests
We welcome parents and guests, and recommend that they attend the orientation session with their student. It is your best chance to be a part of the excitement of starting college at UMKC, and to get all your last minute questions answered. Staff from a variety of campus departments will be on hand to help students transition to UMKC.
