Centers and Institutes
Centers and Institutes provide a multidisciplinary approach to research, education, training and public service. Their purpose is to enable faculty members and students to work with one another, with other institutions and with representatives of the civic, corporate and philanthropic communities on issues, projects and programs related to UMKC’s academic strengths and interests. Centers and institutes report to the Provost’s Office and are evaluated every five years.
