1. Apply for Admission. If you haven't received an admission decision yet or still need to apply, come in person to the Office of Admissions for Walk in Review Days (WIRD) Aug. 11-15 (Fall), with all relevant application materials.

2. Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships.

Once you are admitted to UMKC:

1. Set-up your single sign-on and UMKC email address which gives you access to:

   • UMKC Pathway for registering, paying your bill, and updating your student information, Video Introduction to Student Pathway

   • UMKC computer labs

   • BlackBoard (for accessing online classes)

   • OneStop (for information about your student record)

   • and much more!

2. Take the Math Entrance Test for College Algebra or Calculus.

3. Attend New Student Orientation where you will:

   1. Meet with your academic adviser.

   2. Pick out your class schedule.

   3. Register for classes.

4. Pay your fees, a minimum payment is due by Aug. 15 (Fall) -- even if you don't receive a bill.

5. Get your student ID card at the Campus Information Center on the 1st floor of the University Center.

6. Purchase your textbooks at the UMKC Bookstore.

7. Purchase a parking permit.

8. Go to class! Classes for Fall 2008 start on Monday, August 18.
