Budget Revisions & Sponsor Limitations
The Institutional Rebudgeting Request for Grants form is used as a mechanism to effect budget revisions in the accounting system. Thus, it is used for situations where prior approval is required and also for those grants that are unrestricted by the grantor. All rebudgeting for equipment needs to have ORS approval PRIOR to the purchase of the equipment. Items that affect the indirect costs charged to an account should also be requested on this form PRIOR to the purchase/action taking place.
