Subcontract Modifications

The subcontractor or the PI may, for any number of reasons (e.g. time extensions) identify a need for modifications to the subcontract. To initiate any such changes the Subcontract Modification (pdf) Form should be used. Complete the form and return to UMKC Office of Reserach Services.

Note that an addition or reduction of a subcontract amount, if it involves a concomitant increase/decrease in other budget items, also requires the submission of the Institutional Rebudgeting Request for Grants form. If you are rebudgeting, complete the form and return it to the ORS accountant who handles your awards. (The Subcontract Modification & the Institutional Rebudgeting Request forms are in pdf format.)
