Developing proposals & budgets at UMKC
Faculty members at UMKC are welcome to develop proposals on their own or request assistance from the Office of Research Services (ORS). Depending on availability and amount of notice given, ORS provides a range of proposal services. Examples of services include locating funding sources and appropriate forms, analyzing solicitation guidelines, outlining proposals, budget development, and non-technical editing.
Furthermore, for large interdisciplinary or inter-institutional proposals, ORS can help coordinate project team efforts and proposal development.
