IRB Fees
There are no fees for the review of the following research conducted by UMKC, TMC, CMH staff
- Unfunded research
- Federally funded research
- Foundation funded research
The fee for the review of research conducted by UMKC, TMC, and CMH staff sponsored by private industry are as follows:
Industry Sponsored - based on Study Budget - initial fee for the life of the project
| up to $10,000 | $600 |
| $10,001 to 15,000 | $1,200 |
| $15,001 to 50,000 | $1,800 |
| $50,001 and over | $2,400 |
UMKC occasionally agrees to review research for investigators affiliated with organizations other than UMKC, TMC, or CMH. The fees for the review of research conducted by such investigators are as follows:
