Section A - Senator Attendance:
1.
How often must I attend Senate meetings?
A: You must maintain an "adequate attendance" while a student Senator. If you
miss two
consecutive meetings or three over your entire term you may be removed from your
position

2. What happens if I miss too many meetings?
A: You may be removed from your position by the Chair if you cannot make
adequate

3. How do I send an alternate if I cannot attend?
A: You must send another member of your divisional council. The alternate
will count
towards quorum and will be given full voting privileges. You must inform the
Administrative
Vice President of your alternate a minimum of 24 hours before a regularly
scheduled senate

4. How many times can I send an alternate?
A: An alternate can only be sent three times to regular senate meetings
during a student

5. What happens if I send an alternate too many times?
A: If you exceed the allowance of three times during a term your absences
will be counted

A: The Administrative Vice President is responsible for compiling and
distributing all

Section B - Council Attendance:
7. How often must I attend Senate meetings?
A: A divisional council or governing body must not miss two consecutive

8. What happens if I miss too many meetings?
A: Until representation is re-established your council or governing body will
have their
student activity fee account frozen by the Senate. The Vice Chancellor of
Student Affairs
and Enrollment Management is responsible for authorizing the freezing of student
activity

9. How can I get my student activity fee account unfrozen?
A: You must re-establish representation on the Senate by sending
representative to two

legal member of the Senate?
A: Your Academic Council must send an updated officer list to Administrative
Vice President
and the Student Life Office before the first SGA Senate meeting of the academic
year. Those
Academic Councils represented at the first meeting of the academic year will be
granted the
