Purpose
The focus of the University of Missouri Retirees Association is to promote
the needs,
interests, and welfare of its retired staff and faculty as well
as that of the University of
Missouri- Kansas City. Current information on health issues including
insurance costs and long-term care is provided.
Opportunities for socialization and shared experiences are
available in various formats
including fall and spring luncheons and
planned events such as speakers, selected area
trips, musical
performances, and sponsored activities including a 2004 political debate
between the debate teams from the University of Missouri at Kansas City
and the University
of Kansas.
