- Will investigate and discuss issues brought to council by staff and recommend to the Governing Board what actions, if any, shall be taken.
- Will ensure each issue is brought to vote or disclose reason why it will not be voted on.
- Will ensure that any issue chosen for further consideration and possible voting are discussed with staff council, a proposal/solution suggested, and presented to the next governing group that has power to approve or deny it.
- Tiered Parking - Proposed change in parking charges utilizing several levels of fees based on current salary.
- Campus Smoking Policy - We are working on the current smoking policy with Dr Bailey and his Direct Reports .
- Pedestrian Safety - Increasing awareness of pedestrians and drivers on and near campus to minimize the number of accidents.
- Shared Leave - Donation and withdrawal of sick hours in a shared pool for those that have exhausted other options.
