What It Is

The "Blue Roo Award Program" is a chance for divisional staff to recognize fellow staff members for their outstanding customer service to students and co-workers.
 

When you witness a colleague going the extra mile, email a brief  Blue Roo nomination explanation to medlocke@umkc.edu  Please include the nominees' name, department and supervisor, a brief explanation as well as the nominators' name and department. Nominees are entered into a monthly drawing and one nominee is selected monthly to be our "Blue Roo Winner." Winners are recognized by the VCSA office with a presentation, a certificate, a plush blue kangaroo signifying great customer service as well as being recognized on the Blue Roo webpage.  Individual nominations are encouraged.  Non-divisional nominees are not eligible to be in the drawing but they receive recognition in the form of a letter from the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs office.
